About me

Hey there! I'm Quinn, and I'm passionate about the power of storytelling and its potential to create positive change in the world. With four years of professional editing experience, backed by extensive training from reputable organizations like the Editorial Freelancers Association and Club Ed Freelancers, I'm here to help you bring your stories to life.

Writing has always been a part of me, and I've been crafting tales since before I could even write. Alongside my editing expertise, I have two years of professional freelance writing under my belt, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the writing process.

My focus is on emotionally resonant speculative and historical fiction, where I specialize in working with mature, professional writers who are serious about achieving their dreams of becoming published authors. I also work with established independent authors who understand the critical role that professional editing plays in their success.

As a neurodivergent, LGBTQ+ individual, I bring a unique perspective and deep empathy to my work. I believe that everyone's voice matters, and I'm dedicated to helping you amplify yours. Through our collaboration, we'll create narratives that engage readers, spark meaningful conversations, and make a lasting impact.

In addition to my editing and writing experience, I'm a published essayist and poet, and I’ve penned over a million words of fiction. When I'm not immersed in the world of words, you'll find me tending to my garden, exploring new countries and cultures, hitting the trails on my mountain bike, paddling via canoe or stand-up board, or diving deep into whatever my latest obsession is, including subjects like Viking history, herbal medicine, Cold War espionage, folklore, fitness, and dinosaurs.

I'm excited to embark on this creative journey with you, so let's connect and turn your writing dreams into reality!
